I grew-up in Strongsville, a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio that was once farms and fields. I love Ohio, its European-settled northern industrial cities, its central rolling hills and Amish enclaves, and its southern-influenced towns and cities bordering Kentucky.
I grew-up with 8 siblings, loads of cousins (my Dad has 5 siblings, my Mom 12) and a suburban neighborhood teeming with kids. We spent our free days running wild in the woods, building forts and hunting for wildflowers; organizing softball and badminton games and carnivals in our yard or reading, playing board games and creating clubs indoors. What we lacked in money, we made-up for in creativity.
My memories are rose-colored, my frequent trips home are filled with the people and places I love and have known since cherished since childhood, and my travels statewide expand each year.
My favorite places in Ohio include:
I could live there!
I love all things autumn.

American pumpkins are pretty than Macedonian, but the Macedonians are so sweet and rich flavored - like pumpkin pie without any other ingredients.
Fall is my favorite season. Outdoors is my favorite place to be. Apples, cheese, bread and wine are my dinner of choice.
Ahh, so peaceful.
This quaint New England-ish “village” offers great restaurants and relaxing nooks and crannies.
